left - walked out my front door and took a shot across the street of the smoke coming up over the buildings.
middle - nearest fire truck.. firemen getting dressed and running towards the building.
right - looking down the street. There were some 10 fire trucks and 14+ police cars. The police cars all had cops jumping out and donning fire fighting uniforms.. 

left - the truck nearest the apartment that was on fire.. more firemen

right - closer shot of the apartment. firemen fighting the fire which is mostly out at this point..

left - firemen grabbing a fan from the back of the truck..
right - Gerald getting bored, decides the water on the floor and on the chrome looks neat.. so he snaps a picture of it. It came out pretty good!

So there ya have it. The whole street was blocked off and I've never seen so much happening in one place before. Very cool.. Special thanks to all the firefighters and police for saving my idiot neighbors who I don't know.
