These are some of my favorite things.. Tennis - I enjoy tennis although I'm not all that great at it. I'd be lucky to call myself Intermediate at it but a lot of that has to do with how hard it is to find a partner. Hey do you play tennis? :) Snowboarding - Although I have skied most of my life, a few years ago I tried snowboarding and was almost instantly hooked. I will never ski again now.. I have a crappy Planet Snow snowboard though.. Well at least it's mine! Shredding rules.. Mountain Biking - I've been mountain biking for several years now. I like it because it's great exercise that gets you out of the city (more or less) and mixes things up to keep it interesting (after that long climb, you get to scream back down!). Paintball - Another sport I've done for several years off and on (mostly off). Paintball is extremely fun and teaches you to operate under pressure situations and work in teams. What can be more fun then shooting people anyways to let some aggression out? Well, besides hockey that is.. :-) Sailing - My brother and I used to sail quite a bit. He even owned a Prindle catamaran which was great fun to take out. Ask me about the accident we had with it ;). Scuba Diving - I'm a licensed PADI diver, however I haven't had much time to dive lately so it's a rarity that I get a chance to do it these days. I typically only do it on special occasions like vacations to Hawaii. Traveling - I love traveling. Who doesn't right? There are so many places I'd like to see I'd really rather not get into listing them. Needless to say it's one of those things I plan to do a lot of in my life. More so then I've already had the opportunity to do and I already feel lucky to have done as much as I have.

Why is Hockey better then Sex? #10 It's legal
to play hockey professionally
Hockey! I really never was crazy about organized sports for a long time. As a youth I played a lot of soccer and some basketball. I also played a year of baseball in high school but never really had a love for any of them. hockey wasn't well known in California and one day I was taken to see Gretzky and the Kings play. Within a year i knew I wanted to learn to skate and play too. I practiced several times a week for 4 months learning to skate and do some of the basic skills. I play ice and roller hockey as frequently as possible. It is so much fun that there is usually nothing I'd rather be doing. Hockey is fast and requires a tremendous amount of basic skills before you can even play (skating, puck control, shooting, etc) and then you have to learn the strategies of the game and to think and react quickly and appropriately. And you have to do it all as a team. It really does have a little of every sport in it which is what makes it so fun. I have played both offense and defense and continue to do so depending on what team I happen to be on and what the team seems to need. I am also a fan of the Los Angeles Kings. Some of my favorite players around the league that I admire include Brett Hull, Paul Kariya, Jaromir Jagr, Joe Sakic, and Peter Forsberg... Below are some of my favorite hockey links.
